BUT ACTUALLY i dont want to do any of that, i just want to bring my drumset and electrify it (Simon style but actually not because i already did that in 2006, so...)

And some crazy filters, extension tubes, lens reverser.

Old monitors will be converted to light boxes, view finders. The polarizers, Fresnel lenses... salvaged from them will be converted to camera and lighting filters.

The result (if time allows):
* HiRes microscope
* Focus Sweeping through microorganisms while recording video (-> optical tomography)
* Edge detect the individual images of the video
* Vectorize and convert to 3D printer or laser cutter understandable files
* 3D print enlarged microorganisms (or laser cut layer by layer)

I bring along: drill stand, old screens & monitors, high CRI LEDs, camera, Arduino...

Happy to join this year once again! I will be working on a desktop polyphonic synth project inspired by the Juno synths. I am also taking all my pizza gear like 2 years ago. So pizza lunches are possible, and as I have 2 hacked ovens now, pizza dinner is potentially possible depending on the total mouths to feed :) Also open/interested to help/collaborate with anything stm32, MIDI, manufacturing/assembly of electronics and embedded systems for music.

Second I wanna build a stable VGA Generator with ATtiny or ESP for the next level RGBend FX kit. And the ATtiny FX idea, And and ... but maybe that's all too much.

Das MechArtLab ist grundsätzlich offen für alle Menschen die Interesse an mechatronischem Geeken und Blinken haben und einen künstlerischem Ausdruck über Elektronik, Musik, Interaktivität, Digitalisierung etc. anstreben. Wir leben eine Kultur des Teilens "share is in the air" und sich gegenseitig zu helfen, inspirieren und weiterzubilden.

Besonders am Dienstag Abend, 20:00, ist unser OpenLab, und dienst als bester Zeitpunkt unsere Aktivitäten kennenzulernen und an einem eigenen Projekt zu basteln. In den neuen Räumlichkeiten in der Bitwäscherei können wir nun auch noch mehr anbieten und es ermöglicht einer Gruppe von "Power-Usern" das MechArtLab zu beleben und regelmässig nutzen zu können, 24h / 7 Tage die Woche. Aber sowieso ist jedermann/frau zu jederzeit willkommen!! (wenn jemand da ist euch zu empfangen).

== Bedingungen ==

Für die Phase ab Juli - Ende Dezember 2020, 6 Monate à 30.- CHF aka 180 CHF im Voraus. Wer erst im August dazustösst, soll halt nur 150 bezahlen :-)

Dies ist eine Test-Phase und wir werden dann Ende Jahr diskutieren wie es lief und wie das mit dem Gesamtkonzept der Bitwäscherei und den anderen Communities zusammenspielt.

=== 24h - 7 Tage Zugang ===

Als MechArtLab Nutzer könnt ihr jederzeit unsere Werkstätten und Arbeitsplätze nutzen, wie auch ein kleines persönliches Lager für Rako-Kiste oder Projekt. Die Arbeitstiche stehen vielen Menschen zur Verfügung, anderen Nutzern, wie auch für das OpenLab (jeweils Dienstag). Das heisst richtet euch wenn möglich nur temporär ein während ihr da seid und räumt eure Plätze wieder frei wenn ihr geht.

Ein System für Zugang ist noch in Bearbeitung, vorübergehend, halt irgendwie reinkommen, schauen wer da ist über Slack oder Matrix Chat, und den Code oben kennt ihr ja alle.

Wer fix einen Arbeitsplatz benötigt für eine Projektphase, soll dies erst in Absprache mit dem MechArtLab Team machen und die konditionen verhandeln.

Es gibt andere Veranstaltungen im Raum die berücksichtigt werden müssen, siehe [https://wiki.digitale-gesellschaft.ch/display/BIT/Programm+Planung Kalender hier]. Das heisst nicht, dass ihr dann nicht vor Ort sein sollt, sondern einfach diesen Anlässen nichts im Wege steht. Die Bitwäscherei ist gross genug!

Nutzer sein heist auch offen zu sein für Besucher die reinkommen. Fragen beantworten, den Raum zeigen und unsere Aktivitäten beschreiben.

1 x Mal im Monat gibts Putztag, Jedes erste OpenLab (dienstags) pro Monat, wir bitten alle Nutzer mindestens an 3 solcher Tage in 2020 mitanzupacken.

Allgemein gilt, dass alle Nutzer sowieso mithelfen den Raum sauber zu halten, immer wiedermal abzuwaschen, Glas und Alu-Dosen entsorgen, etc.
