* my Electronic Collection from workshops (needs fixing and extensions)
Interests
* Discussion and exchange about world in translation and transformation …decentralized, connected, local, hands-on, perspective changing, surprising, providing confidence, edges, stability, potentials, group dynamics, sensitive experiences, what holds it together, fears and other forces...
* Painting Lab, Meet People, Learn Stuff, Kids Stuff, Nature, Dancing, Yoga

I am:
* First-time Home Made camper who will now type too much......
* Artist from U.S. working with sound installations, performance, and radio (mostly field recording and processing, including "expanded" transducers like contact mics, hydrophones, RF listeners, etc)
* Teacher/technician at an art college (Cooper Union School of Art in NYC).
* I share documentation of my artwork and technical resources on my website https://zachpoff.com
* Also bringing my son (10 yrs) who is learning to solder and always willing to help out with fun projects

I plan:
* Continue work-in-progress ultrasound "slow looper" instrument based on Teensy (records stereo audio into several buffers at high SR and plays at decimated rates with effects and different playback logic). Let's listen to the bats and insects!
* Experiment with piezos to create ultrasound pulse patterns for instrument above (echo feedback rhythms?)
* Continue implementing stereo time-stretching on Teensy (like loFi Paul's XStretch)
* Deploy a "drop rig" recorder to catch the nocturnal mysteries of the mountains :)
* Happy to give a little talk about the technical & aesthetic qualities of "expanded" field recording practices

I bring:
* Field recording equipment (with contact mics, photodiode "light listeners", RF coils, etc
* Small electret mic capsules with ultrasound response
* Teensy micro-controllers and Audio Shields (SGTL5000 audio codec)
* ESP32 audiokit board (perfect for playing with audio on micro-controllers)
* SDR dongle and ATS-mini receiver for exploring the radio waves
* For the kids: Here's a link to a great poster: "50 tools to Learn by age 12" https://lekkersamenklooien.nl/lekkersamenklooien/hello-world/

Hopes and Dreams:
* Meet people and make sounds together!
* If anybody has WiFi HaLow gear (WiFi over LoRa radio) I'd love to try it, especially within EU-aligned regulations.
* I notice that SGMK has done workshops on local LLMs for coding. I've been amazed by Claude, but also disturbed by the ethical costs.
* I hand-etch PCBs, and always curious about how other people do it
* My ultrasound looper needs some knobs and fader caps. If there is some colorful filament I'd love to print some. (I use OpenSCAD which makes it easy to share design files.)
I plan to make some funky cases for various half finished electronics projects (synths, effects pedals, analog meter, solar lamp).
Also I'd like to try some Iontronics (ions as charge carriers instead of electrons), bio and organic circuits experiments. If anyone would like to join a practical research session on this it would be cool. I'll bring stuff to make a proof of concept organic semiconductor, and then biomaterials ingredients, casting silicone, various types of carbon based materials, things for various electrolytes, things for interfacing with plants, etc.
It would be great to join some jams. I could bring another mixer, and a microphone.
=== Dani R.===

* Arriving: Monday afternoon, July 27th

* What I bring:
I am working on a project for a kinetic, self-sufficient clock. It is powered by a mix of different solar cells using ATtiny (402) chips, a makefile, and programming via UPDI. It includes a real-time clock (RV-3028 RTC), a motor driver (DRV2605L) over an I2C bus, a low-current DC motor, as well as sound and LED control. The programming is done with the help of AI, and I want to share my first-time experience and trials.
Regarding solar harvesting (e-peas AEM10941) to drive the clock: I am researching different solar cells (monocrystalline, polycrystalline, amorphous, and organic) simultaneously, feeding into a single Lithium-ion capacitor (250F). To what extent is this possible? Does it make sense? What is the difference between indoor and outdoor use?

* What I need:
To test different solar cells at the same time, I might need a few more (milli)ampere meters for testing.
Artist etc. based in Luzern.

=== Dani R.===

* Arriving: Monday afternoon, July 27th

* What I bring:

* What I need:
To test different solar cells at the same time, I might need a few more (milli)ampere meters for testing.

If anyone would like to join a practical research session on this it would be cool. I'll bring stuff to make a proof of concept organic semiconductor, and then biomaterials ingredients, casting silicone, various types of carbon based materials, things for various electrolytes, things for interfacing with plants, etc.
=== Dani R.===

* Arriving: Monday afternoon, July 27th

* What I bring:

* What I need:
To test different solar cells at the same time, I might need a few more (milli)ampere meters for testing.

Happy to join this year once again! I will be working on a desktop polyphonic synth project inspired by the Juno synths. I am also taking all my pizza gear like 2 years ago. So pizza lunches are possible, and as I have 2 hacked ovens now, pizza dinner is potentially possible depending on the total mouths to feed :) Also open/interested to help/collaborate with anything stm32, MIDI, manufacturing/assembly of electronics and embedded systems for music.

=== Urban B ===

Once again I'm in for enjoying the event and making improvised music. I just don't know already, which instruments I will take with me. The goal is not to create or buy new gears, but to finish, fix and bring together the instruments I already have in a hopefully fresh and useful way.

Possible Workshops:
* FlashDiscs --> https://taube.xyz/pick/FlashDiscPlayer
* A small and very easy attenuator, kind of mixer --> https://taube.xyz/pick/Attenuador
* If your ears still bear it, programmable SolarBirds --> https://taube.xyz/pick/solarbird

Since I come with the kids, the very first thing is to make them happy. We're coming with curiousity about the mountains and what you all are doing and want to mirror this in drawings and paintings. The dwarfs wanna build an eternal mirror.

From Dresden I'll bring tools and instruments for hacking and the jam. Tell me if you need something I can transport on the move. My main project is to step forward the Neopixel Switch hack. Second I wanna build a stable VGA Generator with ATtiny or ESP for the next level RGBend FX kit. And the ATtiny FX idea, And and ... but maybe that's all too much.

I will have a selection of [noisio.de] kits you can build over the days (or nights).

=== Heck ===

lets see:
* fv-1 programming, to be solved first: "how to read/write 24xx type EEPROM via serial converter from mac/linux"
* ORCA-Workshop (https://gitea.heck.live/heck/Orca-Workshop)
* Vulkan Based Shader Coding. (VulkanHelloWorld is ready, lets make that work on linux too at least https://gitea.heck.live/heck/VulkanHelloWorld)
* ATTiny hacking with noisio - base61 - connect a daisy, whatever ideas...
* Join me in developing a new language called pEpACIDLang (https://gitea.pep.foundation/heck/pEpACIDLang)

BUT ACTUALLY i dont want to do any of that, i just want to bring my drumset and electrify it (Simon style but actually not because i already did that in 2006, so...)

i NEED / WE need:
* a JAM ROOM
And some crazy filters, extension tubes, lens reverser.

Old monitors will be converted to light boxes, view finders. The polarizers, Fresnel lenses... salvaged from them will be converted to camera and lighting filters.

I bring along: drill stand, old screens & monitors, high CRI LEDs, camera, Arduino...

I need: Beamer, Help for DMX controlled constant current source 36V 130mA per channel

=== Oli J ===
I will work on sync and trigger in off old organ drum.

I bring a mixer and p.a. speakers

=== Didier ===
My project: Modify Bastl 60 Knobs software so that it sends Midi SysEx Parameter Changes to DSI Evolver.
Or else I join other project initiators or project initiators.

=== Ralf S ===
- will work on new simple electromechancal instruments
